What is STL?
STL stores a surface as plain triangles — no units, no colour, no curves. It is the default format for 3D printing and what most scanners, slicers and sculpting tools export.
What is GLB?
GLB is the single-file binary form of glTF, the “JPEG of 3D”. It is compact and loads directly in web viewers, AR Quick Look, game engines and most DCC tools.

Is STL to GLB conversion free?

Yes — all mesh-to-mesh conversions are free and unlimited for normal use (fair-use limit: 60 conversions per hour), with no account and no watermark.

Does converting change my model?

No. The vertices and triangles are written out unchanged; only the container format differs. Anything the target format cannot store (see above) is left out.

What's the largest STL I can convert?

Can I convert a mesh into a CAD file?
